The Regional Implementation Team of the Grant program for the Mountains of Central Asia Biodiversity Hotspot held a series of online seminars for country coordinators in August. The seminars were attended by coordinators from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The online training covered grant management issues, CEPF policies and processes, monitoring and evaluation, and gender policy. You can read the materials here.
This knowledge will help the coordinators consult and work with Civil Society representatives for implementing biodiversity conservation projects in their countries.
The Mountains of Central Asia program was launched in 2019 and to date, 13 organizations from Central Asian countries have won WWF small grants.
